Q. Why is a Salt Generator best for my pool?
A. Salt is a natural element found in the Earth,
our bodies and in our homes. Save money by avoiding the use of costly
chlorine sticks and/or shock, plus salt is a very
economical commodity. Salt Generators will
also make your water softer. NO MORE nasty
chlorine smell. NO MORE high chlorine, which can
cause bleaching. Start seeing a return on your
money after one month of use. Salt is also a much
safer product to handle than chlorine - When the ions in
salt are passed over specially coated blades and induced
with a low voltage electrical charge it is converted
into chlorine. It is the same process that is used to
convert seawater into laundry bleach. So easy to
maintain that a child could do it! So many PLUSES
too many to list -- please call us to speak
to a salesman about the multitude of reasons why you
should upgrade to a Salt Generator today. Q.

I see algae in my pool, should I use algaecide?
A. Yes. If you have algaecide you may add
it, or a member of Sundance Pool Services can
effectively rid your pool of algae and get it back in
proper order. First, you must add the algaecide
according to the directions. If you don't add the
correct dosage amount, it won't kill any of the algae.
However, be aware that using the entire bottle of
algaecide is also ineffective. Not only will you spend
additional money, large doses can also lead to staining
and foaming in your pool. Q. Following
chemical treatment, how long do I have to wait before I
use my pool?
A. With the exception of super-chlorinating (which
requires waiting until the chlorine level drops to
recommended levels), you can generally use your pool
when the chemical is dispersed throughout the pool.
Usually within one hour is fine, but we recommend
waiting at least four hours. |
